The Story Behind Its Creation
Inclusive Women Change Makers was born from an improbable yet profoundly meaningful meeting between two women with different but perfectly complementary backgrounds.
The Meeting Between Audrey and Jully
The meeting between Audrey and Jully was natural yet impactful. Searching for a place where she could take care of her hair while feeling understood and welcomed, Audrey discovered Jully’s salon in Montreux. From the moment she entered, she was struck by the salon’s warm and caring atmosphere—a space where every client is listened to, advised, and treated with utmost care.
For Audrey, this was more than just a salon—it was a refuge where she felt “at home.” This meeting marked the beginning of an enriching exchange between two women sharing common values: inclusivity, excellence, and the desire to create a positive impact around them. This connection quickly evolved into an inspiring collaboration.
The Birth of IWCM
Together, they decided to combine their strengths and create an organization that would empower minorities to become philanthropists in their own right, turning their challenges into opportunities to make a difference. Inclusive Women Change Makers was born with a clear mission: to support, inspire, and guide individuals from minority backgrounds in their efforts to contribute positively to their communities and the world at large.
Complementary Strengths for a Shared Mission
IWCM relies on the unique complementarity of Audrey and Jully: Jully brings her practical sense, personal experience, and ability to mobilize communities, while Audrey contributes her academic expertise and networks to develop structured and effective programs. Together, they have created an inclusive and welcoming space where ideas can be transformed into concrete actions.
Since its creation, Inclusive Women Change Makers has become a driving force for empowering minorities in Switzerland. Through mentoring initiatives, training programs, events, and community projects, the organization helps individuals become the change-makers they aspire to be.
Today, Inclusive Women Change Makers is much more than an association. It is a platform, a network, and above all, a family united by a shared vision of building a more inclusive, supportive, and philanthropic future.
